A most modern look, Kouros is rooted in a group of French Art Deco rugs in designer Thomas O’Brien’s personal collection. Their beautiful geometric color-blocked borders were reminiscent of early modernist paintings and inspired a design that starts at the edges and flows into the center. The Tibetan wool and silk hand-knot has a high, plush pile that’s sculpted into different, design-defining heights.
