Description

Part of our first collaboration with fashion designer Victor Glemaud, Bietry Flatweave is a delicate reinterpretation of an antique textile with two contrasting patterns sewn together, which Glemaud found on his travels. We sought out an Italian studio and their unique soumak braiding technique to give the central grid of geometric medallions an embroidered look. Done in pure hand-dyed wool, it has gorgeous striations that carry through to the whimsical flower border.
