Executed in a Tibetan mixed weave construction using a combination of ivory and rustic undyed wool, our Katagami rug plays with texture and the sense of motion. Based on a classic Japanese motif unearthed in our archives , the pattern features a stencil design used in indigo dying and kimono patterning. Arranged into a jagged-edged trellis, it feels at once organic and geometric as it dances across the ground with shifts in color and texture.
